Advancing Association Excellence: Association Headquarters Expands with the Acquisition of Association Executives Group
Mount Laurel, NJ and Los Angeles, CA – In its continued pursuit of building a premier, full-service association management platform, Association Headquarters, LLC (“Association Headquarters” or “AH”), a Corridor Capital portfolio company, has announced the strategic acquisition of Association Executives Group, LLC (“AEG”). This acquisition enhances AH’s presence in the higher education sector, diversifies its client portfolio and strengthens its ability to deliver comprehensive association management services. With the addition of AEG, AH expands its client base and industry reach, further solidifying its position as a leader in the association management industry.
Founded in 1986 and based in Wales, Wisconsin, AEG is a full-service association management firm specializing in strategic planning, event management, marketing, communications and operational services. Founded as an award-winning boutique marketing firm, AEG evolved into an AMCI-accredited management company providing a broad range of services to its clients. AEG’s leadership team brings decades of experience in association management, particularly in finance, marketing, operations and strategic growth. AEG leadership, Denise Harris and Liz Kutz will play roles in supporting AH’s growth initiatives, particularly in strengthening higher education association management and expanding AH’s service offerings.
“AEG brings a strong track record of strong client relationships, cultural alignment and operational excellence,” said Bob Waller, Jr., CAE, CEO of Association Headquarters. “This acquisition enables AH to enhance its higher education service offerings, improve operating efficiencies and provide even greater value to our association clients.”
As part of the transaction, Denise Harris will retain an ownership stake in the combined company and continue to lead AEG as its President. In her role, she will focus on strengthening client relationships and driving business development opportunities as part of the broader AH platform.
“Joining forces with Association Headquarters marks an exciting new chapter for Association Executives Group. Our shared commitment to excellence in association management and our common culture ensures that our clients will benefit from expanded resources, enhanced services and continued personalized support,” commented Denise Harris, President and CEO of AEG. “We look forward to the opportunities this collaboration will bring to our team and the associations we serve.”
“AEG’s deep expertise in association management, combined with AH’s international presence, creates an exciting opportunity to strengthen support for associations and their members,” said Iman Navi, Managing Director of Corridor Capital. “Together, we can enhance operational efficiencies, expand services and further our shared commitment to helping associations thrive.”
As a recognized leader in association management, Association Headquarters partners with hundreds of professional and trade associations, industry organizations and nonprofit groups, providing operational support, strategic guidance and growth-focused solutions. The acquisition is the second this year in AH’s long-term growth strategy and commitment to delivering high-impact solutions that support the evolving needs of associations worldwide. In February, AH acquired Managing Matters, a firm based in Toronto, Canada.
